Hills of Steel is an arcade game in which the player takes control of an armored tank and drives it through hilly locations. Here, the gameplay is very similar to that in the famous Hill Climb Racing, but in addition to the drive, you need to shoot at enemies periodically appearing on the road. But it’s not so easy: you can’t tilt the cannon’s muzzle, so you need to use terrain levels. Rush through the hills and crush your enemies with steel. Collect loot from defeated enemies and upgrade your vehicles with the best upgrades and special weapons you can find. Unlock new customizable tanks and heroically fight your way from one battlefield to another all the way to the futuristic moon. Earn badges by winning one tank battle at a time and rise through the ranks to become the greatest war marshal the world has ever seen! Completing levels will bring money that can be spent on upgrading vehicles, buying a new tank and modifying its appearance.
In the new updated version of Hills of Steel, players will find many exciting elements when this game turns four years old. From there, you’ll find new weapons that are downright impressive and will help you through the various battles you might face. The first factor that you cannot ignore is getting legendary tank skins for free. Each skin has impressive features that you cannot ignore. In addition to finding new skins, the game also introduces you to a brand new support booster: the drone. This is a machine that allows you to accurately hit your enemies. With this, you won’t have to worry about controlling it, because after you press the button to activate the booster, it will appear and start detecting enemies. From there, you will join him to attack enemies until their tanks explode and win, and the drone can only be used once in fights.
In Hills of Steel, players will go into battle with other tank soldiers and you will try to destroy them with your tank with weapons with different characteristics. The design inside the game is completely similar to fighting games, when each player will have a health bar. At the same time, they will move around within the game environment and try to defeat the enemy with what they have. The gameplay is quite straightforward, but there will be many things that they will need to take care of. Players will control the character in a 2D environment using simple and accessible buttons. The environment in the game is not as flat as you might think, but it will be quite rough. Therefore, you will need to be careful how you move, because depending on the characteristics of the projectile, the position of the tank will affect the accuracy of the shot. We can say that you will need to accurately and fluently calculate the characteristics of the tank you control.
