About This App
Today, when personal information is as valuable as gold, remaining anonymous online is the best way to protect our privacy. A unique game changer called Privacy Browser takes this slogan to heart, aiming to reduce the amount of data transferred to the Internet and the amount of data stored locally. This method of apps is quite effective and stands in stark contrast to traditional browsers, which secretly provide websites with vast amounts of information, allowing them to track users and invade their privacy.
Privacy Browser’s goal is to ensure your privacy. Unlike its competitors, it does not provide free data to websites that are known to use such data for cross-site tracking. JavaScript, cookies, DOM storage, user agents, and other technologies all uniquely identify each user. By default, the Privacy Browser disables this feature. However, users need not worry; they can always temporarily allow these features for the current visit if the site requires it.
Currently, web pages are displayed in the privacy browser using Android’s built-in WebView. Using the latest version of WebView unlocks its full potential. However, Privacy Browser has upped its game with the 4x series by moving to a forked version of Android WebView called Privacy WebView. Toggling this switch strengthens the browser’s commitment to protecting user data, which enables enhanced privacy protection. Consider it an investment in a high-quality security guard for your information!
