Last Day on Earth: Survival is an adventure game about survival of a hero after a zombie apocalypse. An unknown virus has destroyed almost the entire population of the Earth, turning it into a crowd of the walking dead. Only a few, having immunity to the virus, were able to survive and continue to exist. One of these lucky ones turned out to be the main character, for whom he will have to play. In the game, you need to do typical actions for games of this genre. The character needs to build and upgrade a shelter that will help in the fight against zombie raids. The rest of the survivors should also beware, as not all of them are friendly to other people. In the open game world, you can find all the items and materials that you will need during construction. We also need to find food, hunt and gather.
While the game doesn’t have a skill system or anything like that, it unlocks each player’s crafting progress over time. All tools or weapons have their own progression and different levels, including the creation of items or materials. This system also gives players access to new and more modern crafting stations that help them craft more premium ingredients and more. Bunkers are seen as dungeons exclusive to Last Day on Earth, where real challenges arise as the player progresses deeper into the ground. However, it automatically resets all progress after a week, so the deeper the player progresses, the more rewards they receive. Bunkers will also be the first to introduce new monster types to make gameplay more exciting and intense as players get their hands on new weapons.
Trading is a common activity of the relics of the post-apocalyptic world, but they never give the players the necessary things. Everything the merchant gives is random, but very valuable, and he can only get some unique items from plane crashes. While traveling around the world, players will sometimes encounter major accidents, and these are places with abundant loot that come with absolute danger.
