Your ultimate goal is to restore the Necropolis to its former glory after the invasion. As you fight the living, you will collect souls and resources to improve buildings in your city. The more you invest in your city, the more abilities you unlock to destroy your enemies. There is a great loop where success in combat allows you to expand the Necropolis, which then opens up new opportunities allowing you to conquer more territory. As exciting as building up your strength is, you’ll also want to expand your capabilities.

For each enemy you defeat, you gain experience that allows you to increase the level of your necromancer. This increases your health and mana, allowing you to withstand enemy attacks longer. You’ll also unlock points that can be invested in various skill trees, such as upgrading your Raise Dead abilities, learning dark magic spells, or improving the damage output of your Harlot Horde. Combining the development of your hero with the growth of the Necropolis itself makes for a great strategic duo to manage. What is an RPG without massive boss battles? Undead Horde 2 offers impressive challenges such as corrupted entombed giants, massive abominations and screaming banshee matriarchs.
